Our focus is on products that help keep beards, hair and skin, healthy - ready to show off to the world. We are meticulous about the ingredients we use, so it's very important to us to be transparent about our products. Each our product pages has a list of ingredients and we link each one back here to this glossary. Every product we carry is free of parabens, silicones, and sulfates. None of our products are ever tested on animals. We've only tested on tried and true beards, skin, and our willing employee testers. A vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor oil plant (Ricinus Communis). Cetearyl Alcohol

A mixture of cetyl and stearyl alcohols that can come from vegetable or synthetic sources. An emulsion stabilizer, foam booster and viscosity increasing agent. Coco-glucoside

Cocoa Butter

Also called theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible vegetable fat extracted from the cocoa bean. It is used to make chocolate, as well as some ointments, toiletries, and pharmaceuticals. Cocoa butter has a cocoa flavor and aroma. Its best-known attribute is its melting point, which is just below human body temperature. Cocoa butter is one of the most stable fats known, a quality that, coupled with natural antioxidants, prevents rancidity, giving it a storage life of two to five years.
