Sophie Sky is with us today at Cut and Grind to tidy up her clients full, "corporate" beard. The client is not growing for length. Sophie is simply going to shape his neck and cheek line while taking a bit of weight off the bottom.
The secret is to keep the square shape of the beard to compliment his face. She also keeps the natural shape of the cheek line to avoid making the beard look bottom heavy. She starts with a grade seven on the clippers. It is always a safe bet to start long and work your way into shorter lengths. This will help avoid cutting the beard too short.
Sky finishes off with with her scissors to remove any stubborn fly-aways. She sets the beard in place with some Old Money Utility Balm to leave the beard looking moisturized and healthy.
