Love is patient, love is kind, and sometimes love sucks. Today Eric and Clayton are talking about the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to relationships and love.
Clayton opens up about his recent breakup with his girlfriend of six months, and talks about their arguments and the things that may have led to the end of their relationship. Eric, who has been married for 10 years, talks about what he has learned about communicating with his significant other, and how communication styles change as relationships move forward.
Clayton also touches on the feeling that a relationship sometimes feels like it can hinder the freedom and possibilities of the future, but Eric explains that while a committed relationship can change the way you do things, it doesn’t necessarily hinder you.
The guys discuss how shifts in societal norms and economic atmospheres have changed how families function, and how external pressures to conform to very specific views and paths within relationships can be pointless and actually detrimental to finding your true happiness when it comes to relationships and love.
