Not so long ago the media was circulating stories about how beards had fecal matter in them. But today they’re singing a different tune. We recently reported on a story about new research from the Journal of Hospital Infections that claims bearded faces actually contain less bacteria than the faces of our completely-shaven brothers.
What’s more, scientists have found that there is actually potential to utilize beards in the creation of antibiotics.
