 Utility Balm Texture

Keep it healthy from the beard to the body. Made from all-natural ingredients and naturally derived fragrances, our Gold Line Utility Balm is a deep hydrating balm that is perfect for keeping your beard, hair, and skin moisturized and healthy.

This all-in-one Utility Balm features base ingredients like mango butter, lanolin, and jojoba oil, as well as shea butter (which is rich in vitamins and renowned for its anti-aging properties), and cocoa butter (which contains a number of antioxidants and is known to improve skin health and elasticity).

Temple Smoke is a mystical blend inspired by the rich fragrance of oud incense. It has deep and warm layers with an earthy, smoky undertone. The complementary notes of frankincense and myrrh create a rich, and long lasting blend. This sweet and smoky scent profile evokes the feeling of a temple retreat.

A little goes a long way, so always start with a smaller amount than you think you'll need and build from there. Use this to keep hair healthy and soft, to alleviate dry skin on hands, and even to keep tattoos moisturized and vibrant - any way you choose to use it, you'll be giving your beard and body the absolute best.

*Utility balm is made of natural ingredients that will melt at high temperatures, and may arrive slightly grainy due to temperature changes in shipping. Variations in texture are normal for the ingredients in this all natural product — just warm it in your hands before you apply for a smooth finish.

5 stars all day

Another awesome beard brand product duct. I e been using the spiced citrus and tea tree styling balm for 2 years. This will be thrown in the rotation going forward. This has slightly better hold than the other silver line balls and the scent is perfect. I honestly do not have one bad thing to say about it. I’ve used many other brands and I always....always come back to beard brand. Temple smoke is the shit. Buy with confidence.

A staple of beardcare

If you buy nothing else from beardbrand, buy this utility balm.

This (along with matching sea salt spray) is my first purchase from beardbrand. First of all I'd like to say I will always buy beardbrand because when I decided to get serious about my beard, every helpful video of tips and tricks I found was from beardbrand. I feel I can rely on them to back their product, and I know they have the knowledge backed by science to create the best product possible. I can't believe how far my beard has come in just a few short months with their help.

Honestly it took me a couple days to get used to this scent but I love it now. I know it smells good when up close and personal but is not overpowering by any measure. A little goes along way.. it's like this stuff explodes into creamy moisture when you rub between your hands. I know my beard loves it as much as I do. 10/10

Da Balm!

Have many different utility balms on hand and the texture and scent of this exceeds all. Sublime and subtle both in aroma and texture. My beard feels great after application and my moustache and nose are besties after application. Keep it up Beardbrand. Great product.

Remember, the Secret is in the Lanolin

I've looked for a beard balm to replace my Detroit Beard Balm for a few years now, to no avail. Nothing has come close to how the lanolin conditions and strengthens my beard and skin... until now. Gotta say, it hasn't replaced the Detroit stuff, but it's not bad (even though overpriced). The ONLY suggestions I'd make is to increase the ratio of lanolin and decrease the shea butter (but hey, what do I know? I'm a pastor, after all, and not a beard product manufacturer). The other is to spend FAR less on marketing notebooks, cardstock, and swag. Instead let the products do the talking for you... until then, it's smoke and mirrors and not the smoke of temple offerings.

One is sacred, and the other is rich in ego :)

Disappointed...

Ordered the matching balm and oil after trying the sample set and felt like neither had the same potency as the vial I fell in love with. The sample smelled as though there was just enough frankincense to create that burning incense smell described, however, both the full size oil and balm were dull. My wife is not convinced they’re the same products, even though the sampler is a small bit of their oil.

If I were reviewing BB’s customer service I’d rate this a 5 as they quickly changed out these products for another I was trying for the first time, Four Vices. So far, so good, but feel both these fragrances could use another round of reformulation and convinced they’d still be able to be advertised as subtle. Right now, just too weak.
