 Utility Balm Texture

Keep it healthy from the beard to the body. Made from all-natural ingredients and naturally derived fragrances, our Gold Line Utility Balm is a deep hydrating balm that is perfect for keeping your beard, hair, and skin moisturized.

Our This all-in-one Utility Balm features base ingredients like mango butter, lanolin, and jojoba oil, as well as shea butter (which is rich in vitamins and renowned for its anti-aging properties), and cocoa butter (which contains a number of antioxidants and is known to improve skin health and elasticity).

Breathe deep - that's the smell of Old Money. With notes of aged oak, black pepper, and amber, this is a rich and complex scent that evolves as its worn throughout the day, and is our most potent scent blend. It's a fragrance that is at home surrounded by rich mahogany, your favorite worn leather chair, a glass of whiskey, and a cigar.

A little goes a long way, so always start with a smaller amount than you think you'll need and build from there. Use this to keep hair healthy and soft, to alleviate dry skin on hands, and even to keep tattoos moisturized and vibrant - any way you choose to use it, you'll be giving your beard and body the absolute best.

*Utility balm is made of natural ingredients that will melt at high temperatures, and may arrive slightly grainy due to temperature changes in shipping. Variations in texture are normal for the ingredients in this all natural product — just warm it in your hands before you apply for a smooth finish.

Don't start my day without it

Had been using their Tea Tree Oil for about a year and wanted to try something new. I ordered the Gold Line fragrance sample to decide which oil to order and they included a free sample of Old Money Utility Balm. I hadn't actually heard of Utility Balm but quickly realized it was exactly what I needed.

Among the three scents I liked Old Money the most by far so it was perfect that it was the sample balm. After three days of using it I ordered a full jar. Feels great in my beard and any extra rubs right in on my elbows. In addition a little in my hair gives a nice sheen and hold.

Some people complained that Old Money was too strong. I disagree; it's subtle, but complex. I could NOT be happier with the scent and the balm. Only thing better than Beardbrand products is their customer service, which is second to none. Got a loyal customer here!

100% recommend!

Old Money - utility balm

I've heard about this brand from Instagram, and it has immediately captured my attention.
I've asked a bit around and then I completed my order.
the only thing that worried me a bit was the smell... and I can assure that this fragrance is one of the best that I ever tried!
Absolutely recommended!

Utility Balm

I've tried a few other balms but so far beardbrand's are my favorite. Good weight and feel. At first I thought the scents might be too much for me; they are less woodsy than the hippie stuff I usually wear (tree sap). But the smell of Old Money grew on me. I put it on before I go to bed and it gives me nice dreams.

Elegant, Classy, Manly, Timeless

My introduction to the Beardbrand line started with 'Lumber Yard' - I loved the consistency of the balm immediately. The scent was fine - maybe a little too 'Manly' for me. I knew Beardbrand had a 'Gold Line' but was never able to check them out in person (I should have just ordered the sample pack). Went out on a limb and ordered a jar of 'Old Money' - decided that even if I hated the smell I'd still have my balm consistency of choice.

THIS STUFF SMELLS SO GOOD. I'm a huge history nerd and I feel like I'm submersing myself in another time period where big beards and classy mustaches ruled the world. This stuff is superb - grab a jar your ole lady will thank you.

OLD MONEY UTILITY BALM

This utility balm does not smell quite as nice as the styling balm in the old money department, has kind of woody undertone once applied. Makes the beard nice and soft though, with a little bit of hold as well. Not sure I would buy gold line utility balm again do to the price.
