HOW TO USE IT
Apply a nickel-sized amount of Shampoo to wet hair, lather up, and rinse. For more hydrated and manageable hair, follow up with the matching Conditioner. Safe to use on dyed hair and sensitive scalps.
Remove excess water from hair and apply a nickel-sized amount of Conditioner to damp hair, leave in for a minute or two (or longer for extra conditioning), then rinse. Safe for use on dry and sensitive scalps. We recommend using Conditioner daily as part of a co-washing routine.
Scoop out a pea-size amount of balm, rub hands together, and work into your beard or head hair. Start at the back of the head and work to the front. Apply the product evenly from the roots of the hair to the tips. Add more as needed. Shape hair to the desired style. Styling Balm works on both damp or dry hair.
Sea Salt Spray
Start with damp, towel-dried hair. Shake bottle. Spray generously on mid-lengths and ends of hair, then air or blow dry for natural-looking tousled beach waves. Finish with Styling Balm if some extra hold is needed.

Customer ReviewsWrite a review
I rarely write reviews but I felt that this deserves my honest review. Short backstory...I’ve been using beard products for over 5 years. I started with a chain store brand and then found my way to YouTube where I saw Eric Bandholz and his product videos. I bought some tea tree beard oil and was hooked. I experimented with other brands and there are some out there that compete well with Beardbrand quality. Now, I don’t know if I’m OCD or a little feminine (which is fine tough guys) but I like for all of my products to “match”. It’s just my thing. One thing that I could never find was a kit that had EVERYTHING I didn’t necessarily need but would like to have if I ever did in fact need it. (Ex. Sea salt spray). So here we go to my most recent experience. I found the Four Vices hair kit and was so thrilled I just purchased it. A couple of hours later I was scrolling the Beardbrand site and saw that they had a kit with EVERYTHING that was Four Vices scented. I literally said out loud “What the f*%#”. I just spent over $100 on a hair kit and some balm and oil I think as well and now I see I could’ve purchased hair and beard and body all in one kit. The next day I emailed Beardbrand and basically asked if I could buy the remainder of the items to complete the full kit. Promptly I got a response and the transaction was made quickly as well. I received all of the items within a week, maybe less. As I said I’ve used Beardbrand oil and balms for years. I knew they were good already. I have used only Beardbrand products for around a week. I’m growing my hair out for the first time in 17 years. I used the shampoo and conditioner once, maybe twice a week. Without hesitation I will say that this combo has been better for my hair than any that I’ve tried. That’s including salon shampoos. The beard wash and softener does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I usually use a mositurizing body wash but I have been using the soap bar and have no complaints. I also use it for face wash and it does dry my face out some. I use the utility balm to moisturize my face after my shower and that seems to be working. I may still have to use my face scrub. We will see. After my shower I use beard oil and I use just a dab of the utility balm in my hair while it’s damp. The remainder on my hands, if any, goes on my face and beard. I have been using the styling balm daily even though I wear a hat the majority of the day. As I said my hair is growing out and working on a farm I really have to wear a hat. The styling balm actually helps some with the “hat head” and if I do need to style to go out the balm works perfectly. Natural looking and manageable but still stays in place. The deodorant has worked surprisingly well. The only issue I have with it is that it goes really fast. Maybe I
am using too much. I’m still experimenting but I have bought another 3 pack just to he sure I don’t run out. I haven’t used the cologne, sea salt spray or mustache wax yet. My previous experience with sea salt spray was that it didn’t work well with my hair. But I’ve never really took time to style it that way either. The wax and cologne will be for special occasions so they will last me awhile. The comb that I got is my new daily as well and it is exactly what I needed for my hair as I was using a small pocket comb. As far as the scent, I used to use Old Money a lot. I was in an office environment career and the smell was fitting. Unfortunately that career ended very badly and now that smell is triggering for me. Four Vices is fitting in many ways in that I work at a winery and we also grow and make hemp products so the smell just blends so well with my lifestyle. I think that’s everything. Beardbrand is my grooming supplier. I have everything I need and as time goes on I will be able to see what I use the most of and get some stuff auto-shipped. This stuff works for anyone blue or white collar. Results will vary. But I will always recommend Beardbrand products for the reasons described above.
The products were everything I expected. I don’t personally like how the sea salt spray makes my hair feel. But otherwise I’d say the kit was 10/10. I have been growing my hair for 14 months and have hair to my shoulders(first time ever having anything longer than a high skin fade 3 up top). Recently my hair began getting very dry no matter how little I washed it or what product I tried. But I finally bit the bullet and invested in some top shelf products and man what a difference. Thanks guys. You’ve got a lifer here for sure.
I decided to let my goatee of 15 years going to to a beard and started to let my hair grow out for a second time. Bought the Hair and Beard set in Temple Smoke. It is amazing! A subtle yet manly smell. I don’t care for overpowering scents so it is perfect
