Don’t Call it Just a Bar of Soap
It’s time to simplify your shower, man. One bar, FIVE different functions. Our Utility Bar is engineered to work as a body wash, shave soap, face cleanser, beard wash, and hair shampoo. This bar pulls its weight. Think it can’t hold it’s own as a shampoo or shaving soap? We guarantee it will out-perform any cheap product you can pick up at your local grocery store.
This puck-shaped bad boy is easy to hold, so you’ll only drop it when you’re ready to step out of the shower and face-off with the day. The glide lather coasts over your skin like a cross-ice pass from Gretzky. And when used as a shaving soap, the low-foam formula lets you see your edges as you trim your beard lines, allowing for maximum precision.
Need to pack light for a trip? This bar is a requirement. Like all of our products, it’s TSA friendly and won’t get you flagged and patted down by security. And if said trip leaves you marooned on a deserted island—you’ll be glad you packed a Utility Bar.
Fragrance You Can Build Upon
Gentle enough for everyday use, it makes the perfect fragrance base layer to build upon while hydrating both hair and skin. Pair it with any of our other products, like Beard Oil or Utility Balm, to smell awesome all day long.
The natural ingredients in this innovative bar make it work well with your body chemistry while giving you the high- performance and fragrances you expect from us. It's free from SLS's, parabens, silicones, animal products, AND we aren't using palm oil for the base—meaning it will leave you feeling clean without the residue that is typically left behind with inferior products.
Who knew sin could smell this good? We meticulously blended together the four unique scents of tobacco, coffee, hops, and hemp cannabis to create the perfect blend that's rich and rugged. The earthy notes of coffee and tobacco pair perfectly with the bitter, floral notes of the hemp cannabis and hops.
Tea Tree is our crisp, fresh blend that inspires adventures. Imagine taking a step outside into the brisk morning air in the mountains. A very cool, clean, and crisp scent that you can wear anytime of day.
As a Shampoo
Place the bar directly on wet hair and rub to work into a lather. Once a substantial lather has been built, use your fingers to gently massage the soap into the roots of your hair and scalp. Rinse the soap completely from your hair. Repeat if needed.
As a Body Soap
Apply directly to wet or damp skin and rinse.
-or-
Use with a loofah or washcloth to exfoliate dead skin cells from your skin’s surface. You can lather the bar directly on the rough surfaces of your loofah or washcloth, then gently scrub your skin. Or use the bar first; and then exfoliate using circular motions. Rinse when finished.
As a Beard Wash
Work into a lather in your hands or use directly against the beard to work into a lather. Use your fingers to work the soap through the beard, focusing on the skin and roots. Rinse thoroughly. Follow these steps a few times a week and follow up with a moisturizer such as Beard Oil or Utility Balm to avoid drying out the skin beneath your beard.
As a Face Wash
Wet your face with lukewarm water before applying. Then, either create suds with your fingers and apply soap to face or use the bar directly on your face. Spread the soap to each area of your face using gentle, circular motions for 30 seconds to a minute. Rinse and pat your skin dry.
As a Shaving Soap
Use as a clear shave soap - when you need to see exactly where to clean up your edges - Simply wet the bar, apply to the skin, and shave where needed.
-or-
To use as a creamy shave soap, place the bar at the bottom of a shaving mug, wet your shaving brush, and shake off any excess water. Next, run your brush over the Utility Bar and apply the thick, moisturizing lather to your face. You’re ready for a comfortable, luxurious shave.
Storage Tips
Keep the bar dry between uses to extend life. This will also help keep the bar intact without cracks, and avoid the dreaded soap goo—the soft squishy soap a bar produces if left in wet conditions. We recommend using a soap dish with raised areas to keep the soap above pooled water, or a wire shower organizer to encourage air drying.
You can also blend your old bar once it gets small with a new Utility Bar. You can do this in the shower by creating a lather between the two, pushing them together, and allowing them to dry like this. After a few uses, they should fuse together into one bar.
