Beard Balm
Our original formula Utility Balm. A moisturizing powerhouse made with 3X more natural butters (shea, mango, cocoa) than standard beard balms. This ultra-hydrating beard balm and hair moisturizer also works miracles on dry skin, adds shine and vigor to fully healed tattoos, and so much more.
Deep Conditioning Beard Balm
The primary ingredients in our balm are shea butter, mango seed butter, cocoa seed butter, apricot kernel oil, jojoba seed oil, and beeswax.
The blend of rich butters and beeswax gives it a thicker consistency than beard oil, allowing it to sit on the hair longer for slow-release conditioning—particularly beneficial if your beard tends to dry out quickly.
It’s not a styling product, but the beeswax helps tame flyaways and keep your beard looking polished.
How to Use Beard Balm
Beardbrand Beard Balm does not have the ordinary and typical texture you might find in other balms. And we think that’s a good thing.
This concentration of all-natural butters in Beard Balm means some texture and crystallization will occur. That’s how you can tell our balm is made with multiple high-quality, all-natural butters.
- Press the Beard Balm in your hands for 5 seconds to melt away crystals.
- Evenly apply the balm to a damp beard and the skin beneath it.
- Then, evenly distribute the balm to your beard with a boar's hair brush.
You can also apply it anywhere you need all-day hydration.

Beard Balm FAQs
Why is my Beard Balm grainy?
Beardbrand Beard Balm does not have the ordinary and typical texture you might find in other balms. And we think that’s a good thing.
Most beard balms and beard butters are made with only shea butter. But Beardbrand Beard Balm features shea, mango, and cocoa butter. That’s three times the all-natural and ultra-hydrating benefits for your beard. But that’s not all — we formulated Beardbrand Beard Balm to be a product you can use on more than your beard. That means we avoided commonly used beard balm ingredients like coconut and avocado oil. Why? Because those oils have a high likelihood of clogging your pores if you use them on your face and skin.
This concentration of all-natural butters in Beard Balm means some texture and crystallization will occur. That’s how you can tell Beardbrand Beard Balm is made with multiple high-quality, all-natural butters. As they say — the proof is in the pudding. Simply warm the Beard Balm in your hands by pressing your palms together for 5 seconds to melt the crystals. Then, apply anywhere for all-day hydration.
It’s an extra step, but it’s so worth it.
Is Beard Balm safe for all skin types?
Beardbrand Beard Balm is suitable for all beard types. Beard Balm has some ingredients with a score of 3 or higher on the comedogenic scale, meaning that it may clog pores when used as a face moisturizer. Beard Balm is suitable for most skin types, but if you have oily skin or are prone to acne, we recommend using Beardbrand Beard Oil as a face moisturizer instead of Beard Balm.
Note: the comedogenic scale is just one of many factors that help us predict how your skin will react to an ingredient. Ingredients derived from plants and fruits are often allergenic, but this is a potential side effect with all cosmetic products — not one that is solely exclusive to Beard Balm. Some people may experience allergic reactions to ingredients used in Beard Balm. Fragrance blends found in beard oils can also cause irritation for people with sensitive skin. Always spot-test a new beard oil to ensure your skin doesn’t react to it.
