Not Your Typical Bar Soap
Think all bar soaps leave your skin dry? Think again.
Beardbrand Utility Bars are made with natural ingredients. We start with skin and hair-softening mango butter and palm oil and add cleansing and nourishing oils like castor, coconut, and almond along with activated charcoal to gently dislodge dirt from deep within the skin’s pores.
How Do I Use the Utility Bar?
Bar Soap and Face Wash
Apply directly to wet or damp skin. Or, use with a loofah or washcloth. Rinse.
Beard Wash
Create a lather in your hands and work into your beard, focusing on the skin beneath.
Shampoo Bar
Place the bar directly on wet hair and rub to work into a lather. Once a substantial lather has been built, gently massage the soap into the roots of your hair and scalp. Rinse.
Shave Soap
Place the bar at the bottom of a shaving mug, wet your shaving brush, and shake off any excess water. Next, run your brush over the Utility Bar and apply the thick, moisturizing lather to your face or scalp. You’re ready for a comfortable, luxurious shave.

Utility Bar Soap FAQs
Will the Utility Bar leave my skin dry like other bar soaps do?
Think all bar soaps leave your skin dry? Think again. Beardbrand Utility Bars are made with natural ingredients. How long will each Utility Bar last me?
The harder a bar soap is, the longer it lasts. And the longer it lasts, the less frequently you need to buy it. What makes Beardbrand Utility Bars harder and more long-lasting than the average bar soap?
- Ingredients: All bar soap is made using a combination of butters, hard oil, and soft oil. The more butter and hard oil used, the harder the bar of soap. Three of the top four ingredients in our Utility Bar are shea butter, mango butter, and coconut oil (a hard oil) resulting in a higher percentage of "hard" ingredients.
- Curing: The longer a bar soap cures, the harder it is. Beardbrand Utility Bars are cured for a minimum of three weeks before being boxed. But just how wine continues to age in the bottle, Beardbrand Utility Bars continue to cure up until the moment you start to use them.
- Size: Most "big brand" bar soap is between 2.6 and 4 ounces. Beardbrand Utility Bars are 5 ounces. Fun fact—Utility Bars are just a tad smaller than NHL hockey pucks. The Utility Bar may not withstand a 100 MPH slapshot, but they will withstand two to four weeks' worth of showers—if not more.
How big are the Utility Bars?
Each bar in the 3-pack is 5 oz / 142 g.
