Thoughts on Consumerism

About two years ago I paid off all of our personal debt. Financial security has been a big goal for me and the many years of sacrifices were finally met with a relief.

The burden of owing someone money is something I've never enjoyed.

It wasn't easy; especially when our neighbors were getting new cars, hot tubs and kitchen remodels. Hell, I'm still driving the first car I've ever bought - my 2003 Dodge Dakota.

To get to where we wanted to be, it meant spending money wisely and avoiding impulse purchases.

Now is the season where you will be bombarded with offers, deals and promotions.

It's very easy to get caught up in the emotions of shopping and forget your long term goals. We can't live life without buying things, but we can focus on the way we shop; like planning for purchases, saving and buying with cash over credit.

This holiday season, Beardbrand does have a plan to launch three new products on Black Friday. As you know, our new products get pre-launch prices for our subscribers for a short period of time. So, in a sense, Beardbrand is participating in the holiday madness.

So, what I wanted to do is give you some advance notice, that way you can logically determine if our products will fit into your life (which I hope is the case).

We will be launching these new products:

  • White Line Utility Balm (Blank Slate, Urban Garden & Lumber Yard)
  • Silver Line Styling Balm (Tree Ranger, Spiced Citrus & Tea Tree)
  • Gold Line Solid Cologne (Old Money, Temple Smoke & Four Vices)

We've been working very hard this year to offer new products that will help improve your life.

Personally, I've found my daily grooming routine helps me feel energized to take on the day and confident about the way I look.

The products we've developed are products I personally stand behind because I directly helped shape what they have become. We try to provide full information about the product attributes so you can make a wise decision if it works for you, plus swaps are always free (or get a full refund).

Part of our goals at Beardbrand are to help our customers to keep on growing - to become better men. Part of that is a better grooming routine, and another big part of it is the stuff beyond the beard (like financial responsibility).

It's very gracious that you choose to spend your hard earned dollars with Beardbrand and for that I am forever grateful. We are going to continue to do everything we can to change the way society views beardsmen and make the world a better place.

As always, thanks for everything and beard on!
